• 6th Grade Art Club

    The 6th Grade Art Club meets the first Tuesday of every month from 3:30-5:00PM in room 737. This club is a space for 6th graders to create art! There is no fee to participate. There is communal paper, markers, color pencils, scissors, and glue available. But please bring your own specialized art supplies.

    The Badminton Club

    The Badminton Club meets every Monday after school from 3:40 to 4:30 PM in the gym from now through November.  All students are welcome. No experience or equipment is needed. Enjoy a fun activity while making some new friends.

    Card Club

    The Card Club meets every other Friday (2nd and 4th) of the month in room 916, and the time is from 3:45-4:15 PM.  A small snack is allowed, but you will eat in the hall (since we have new carpet). The Card Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who want to trade cards and then play with them.  You can play with Yu-gi-oh, Pokemom, magic, and regular playing cards. Come join the fun!

    Chess Club

    The Chess Club meets every Tuesday after school in room 515. The time is from 3:35-4:20PM. A light snack is allowed at 4PM (players must bring their own snack and eat in the hallway because of new carpet). The Chess Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is no fee to participate. There are two tournaments that have sign-ups prior to occurring - one is held near the end of first semester and the other is near the end of second semester. We welcome new and experienced chess players. Hope you will join in the fun – Checkmate!

    Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

    FCA meets every Friday morning before school from 7:30-8:15AM. FCA is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is no fee to participate. Please report to the doors at the far, East end of the building to be let in and report to room 741.

    Muslim Student Association (MSA)

    MSA meets every day for Dohr in Room 811 during Home Room. MSA also meets the last Friday of every month for breakfast. MSA is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is no fee to participate. MSA invites 2 guest speakers during the year, organizes parties and halakas, runs 3 drives a year, contributes to the existing IACC Food Bank, organized field trips, and more.     Red Cross Club

    The Red Cross Club meets Wednesday mornings in room 816 from 7:50 to 8:15. All grade levels are allowed to participate.

    Rice Film Club

    The Rice Movie Making club is every Thursday after school from 3:45 to 5:00 in the sixth grade computer lab. MMC is open to all students. We will make a movie for our upcoming film fest. We will also make a movie to show at the end of the year. Join in!

    Rubik's Cube Club

    The Rubik's Cube Club meets every Friday after school in Room 813. The time is from 3:35- 4:20 PM. The club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is no fee to participate. Those new and experienced with Rubik's cube are welcome. Bring your cube and join the fun!

    The Science and Math Club

    The Science and Math Club will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 3:35pm to 4:15pm in Rm 511. Students will come together to talk and share information on science and math topics and solve science and math problems. There is no fee to participate and all are welcome.
