This is my third year at Jasper High School, but it is my 28th year in education. I am fortunate to have had so many educational opportunities on so many levels. I have taught social studies to middle and high schoolers in Florida and Texas. I have taught English as a Second Language to K-12 students in suburban Tokyo. I have tutored ACT/SAT students in Virginia and Florida. I have mentored First Generation and Low Income college students in Florida. I was a university test proctor and university staff member who managed a Student Perception of Teaching program in Florida.

I will be teaching World Geography Honors and World Geography this year, which is my favorite subject. I have taught World Geography for 5 years and was fortunate to have taken many geography courses at a graduate level at Ohio University. 

I greatly look forward to helping students get a better understanding of our increasingly interconnected and fast-changing planet. I want to help broaden their geographic knowledge, but also develop skills to explain the "why" questions in World Geography. I feel privileged to lead students on this exciting journey of exploration.
