I'm originally from Parma/Malden, MO and have resided in DFW since 2002.  I graduated from Jackson State University, as well as Parker College (now Parker University).  After teaching nights at Everest College and completing my education, I decided to take a year off an explore teaching full-time.  This will be my 16th year in education and one of the best decisions I ever made.  

My husband and I are both educators.  With our blended family, we have 3 beautiful girls and a Yorkie named Louis Vuitton.  My daughter was also a graduate of the 2017 class at Plano West.    

I have been a teacher at Plano West since 2011.  I am currently one of the Special Education Team Leaders and I oversee students w/ last names beginning w/ A - L.
