Mrs. Melissa Collett

I am a native Texan who has lived in Texas my whole life. I grew up in Arlington, earned a BA in English with a minor in writing from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I have taught at Plano West since the spring of 2007. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my twins,  traveling, reading, Crossfitting, and distance running. I am also the English Department Chair and team leader of AP English Language and Composition.

I am excited about this school year and the opprotunity to teach your student!
