I am a proud product of Plano ISD, attending Renner Middle School, Shepton High School, and Plano West Senior High School, graduating in 2003. 

I received my undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and will seek a Masters degree in Literature. This is my 14th year of teaching, 10th at Plano West. This will be my 10th year of teaching AP Literature and my 8th year teaching Honors English IV. I am also the team leader for Honors English IV. I enjoy working with students and sharing my love of literature with them.
