I teach Engineering Science and Digital Electronics.
Engineering Science is a survey course of Engineering. The purpose of the course is to introduce to students the various fields in the Engineering Domain. We dive into civil, mechanical, electric, robotic, and control engineering. Engineering Science is a fun, fast-paced class designed to help future engineers find their calling in the different Engineering disciplines. Engineering Science is a majority project based class, with some tests for major grades. This class is noted as a Distinguished Course which means that it is graded on a 5.0 scoring system for the purposes of GPA.
Digital Electronics is a course that studies the core concepts of digital electrical systems. These systems are the core of all modern electronics. This class focuses on how to use and control electrical signals to create electrical systems that can solve real world problems. We will study the basics of circuits, computer number systems, Boolean logic, AOI Logic Design, NAND & NOR Design, SSI, MSI, FPGA, and use of microcontrollers. Digital Electronics is a math-based class that builds on its own foundations. This class is noted as a Distinguished Course which means that it is graded on a 5.0 scoring system for the purposes of GPA.
