This is my 11th year teaching here at Plano West.  I am currently teaching Anatomy & Physiology while serving as the team leader.  Previously, I have taught On-Level Physics, AP Biology, Honors Physics, and Earth Space Science.  I am currently in the process of pursuing National Board Certification.  I have also served on the district's Physics and A&P curriculum writing teams.

I grew up in Florida and then Duncanville, where I graduated from Duncanville High School.  I attended Texas A&M University in College Station, graduating with a B.S. in Health.  I worked at CVS as a Pharmacy Technician for 3 years during college.

I am married, and have two young daughters and two crazy dogs. We enjoy going on trips as a family, especially when it involves a beach or hiking.

We currently have 5 class pets: Medusa the Blue Tongue Skink, Gwen the Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, Garrison (Gary) the Leopard Gecko, and Mocha & Potato the fancy mice.
