Mr. Myers serves as Assistant Band Director and Percussion Coordinator for the Plano West cluster schools.  Prior to teaching here, he was an Assistant Band Director/Percussion Director at Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas from 2014-2018 and Assistant Band Director/Percussion Director in Arlington ISD at James Bowie High School from 2010-2014. His groups have been consistently awarded outstanding captions at many of the major drumline contests around the area and also for the NTCA indoor percussion circuit.

Mr. Myers has performed with many community organizations around the metroplex, Arlington Community Band, Mansfield Wind Symphony, Plano Community Band, and the Dallas Civic Winds.  He was a member of the percussion section with the Amarillo Symphony. He was a member of the Madison Scout Drum and Bugle Corps from 2005-2006 as a member of the front ensemble. His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Percussive Arts Society. Professional and educational endorsements include Evans/D'adarrio/Pro-Mark and Sabian cymbals.
