The Texas Senate passed Senate Bill (SB) 1828 during the 86th legislative session requiring all public schools to observe Holocaust Remembrance Week each year. SB 1828 calls for the use of age-appropriate instruction, as determined by each school district. Read More.
In Plano ISD, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff is a top priority and a coordinated effort. The district works with the Collin County Health Department, as well as our students, staff, parents and healthcare professionals to manage communicable illnesses such as flu, and the same precautions are in place as we monitor the 2019 Novel (or new) Coronavirus.
