Mrs. Emily Springfield

Hello! This will be my first year at Jasper and my first year teaching! I am so excited to be teaching AP Computer Science Principles and Computer Science 1. Before Jasper, I worked as a full-stack software developer, so I'm excited to utilize my industry experience to guide my lessons. I received my first Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alabama (roll tide) and received a second Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Western Governors University. When not teaching, I enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons, testing out complicated cooking recipes, and tinkering with firmware. 

Fun fact about me: I have a minor in theatre and studied opera as an extracurricular in college! My favorite role was the Witch in Into the Woods.
