I am a transplant to Texas and have been an active community member of Plano for the past 17 years. I have three kids who have all graduated from PSHS! The oldest has graduated from college, the middle lives on a sailboat in the Pacific Northwest, and the youngest starts her studies in Bioinformatics this year!

I graduated from Southern Miss in 2006 with a degree in Physics Licensure, General Sciences, and a Minor in Mathematics. I have taught all levels of physics & astronomy at Plano Senior for 13 years as well as 4 years at the Academy HS in Plano. 

I have lived most of my life in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy hobbies that include hiking, camping, scuba diving, or just exploring the natural wonders of the Earth. This passion for the outdoors and lots of time in dark sky areas area few reasons why I am excited to teach Astronomy.
