Hi! I am Dr. Michelle Skyers, and I will be your 11th and 12th-grade students' ESL Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. I was born on the island of Jamaica. I migrated to the United States over thirty-five years ago.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Public Accounting from Pace University, New York, a master's degree in accounting, and a doctor of management degree with a concentration on executive leadership from Colorado Technical University. 

I am the proud mother of two astute leaders: my daughter Danielle, who is currently an honor chemistry teacher, and my son Michael, who is a reserve marine and a civil engineer. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy doing something fun and mindless. I am also an avid reader and researcher. My mind is a constant sponge.
