I was born and raised in Moline, Illinois. I graduated from Moline High School in 2004 and went to Northern Illinois University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education in 2008. I moved to Plano, Texas in July of 2008 because I wanted warmer weather and heard that Plano ISD was a great public school system. I have not regretted my move one bit and I'm happy to say that what I heard about Plano ISD is still true today. My first year of teaching was at Plano Senior High School and I am still going strong. I got my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. I married my husband, Anthony, in 2017 and we have two boys, named Granger (3 years old) and Zach (1 year old). We also have a wonderful Cavapoo named Baxter.
