Hello! I am the counselor for the beginning of the alpha here at Plano Senior HS. I am also the proud mom of two Wildcat graduates. In this photo you see me with my own high school counselor, with whom I still keep in touch, even though she is now retired, and we live in different states. I have worked as a counselor at both the middle school and high school levels.

I particularly enjoy serving the 11th and 12th grades because these are two years when students balance their current school life with their plans for the future. I support students academically, socially and emotionally as they progress through these important years and consider an array of options which may lead them to attending a 2 or 4 year college, serving in the military, or entering directly into the full-time workforce. I have visited over 100 college campuses, adding to the list each school year. We are fortunate to have access to colleges of a variety of sizes and settings all over Texas and the U.S.

Here’s to you having the best two school years here at PSHS, where everyone is a Wildcat first. I am happy to be part of that journey with you.
