Abby Hogan was born in Plano, TX! She has eight successful years of experience in theatre build & and design.

She received her Bachelor of Arts: Theater Design and Technology degree with an emphasis on Scenic Design from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!). As a Frisco native, Abby is familiar with Plano and the greatness it asks of its students and is proud to have a place where she can encourage students to exceed their potential.

For as long as she can remember, she has loved creating and helping others. By pure chance, Abby discovered theatrical design unintentionally, as she was told it was required for a class she wanted to take. From that moment she knew that this was what she needed to do. At university, she was the Scenic Designer and the Assistant Scenic designer on 4 shows as well as the painter and carpenter on numerous others.

While in college, Abby rescued a Pit Bull named Montana and the two have become inseparable since. Her love of theater prompted her to do a study abroad in London where she saw countless shows on and off the West End. Abby also saw The Lion King on Broadway when she went on a family trip that opened her eyes to the world of theater.

In her free time, Abby enjoys kayaking and spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Hogan is so excited about starting the school year teaching at Plano Senior High! Go Wildcats!
