Originally from Wisconsin, I have had the opportunity to travel the world. At the age of 18, I moved to New York City to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and performed Off-Broadway in a couple review shows. From there, I spent a couple of years traveling the US on tour with children's theatre and sailed the world the Holland America and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. 

While traveling, I created audition content and documented our travels. Eventually, I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Animation and worked for a global marketing firm on business to business marketing content for Fortune 100 companies and international government programs. During the time we were teaching from home, I received my Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology.

Some of my work in 2020 has been seen around the country. I oversaw the creative process for "Project 2020" during which I created 300+ videos, one for each graduate, that included video and written message to each specific graduate. The video also included a visual of their diploma, grad pics, and video messages.

As a teacher, I work to open the connection between the school and the community. Not only do the students learn to create and edit video content, they also learn life skills like balancing a budget, time management and team building. The projects the students work on are for the public eye and viewed throughout the district at events and presentations. Some of my past students have created their own businesses before graduating high school.
