Mrs. Kennitra Robertson
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the Principal of Vines High School. I am honored to have the privilege to serve the Vines community, and I look forward to partnering with you as we continue to uphold Vines’s tradition of excellence. I am entering my sixteenth year in education and most of my experience has been in Plano ISD. I was a science teacher for seven years at Wilson Middle School and taught fifth grade in Louisiana. I served as an administrator at Otto Middle School for five years and principal of Robinson Middle School for four years. I am passionate about creating an environment where positive relationships are developed, challenges are seen as growth opportunities and successes are celebrated. My husband, Shawn, and I enjoy spending time with our two children and attending their many extracurricular activities. Cameron is nineteen and loves all sports, especially football. Kennedy is fourteen and enjoys gymnastics, basketball and painting. As a parent, I recognize how important it is for students to belong to an environment where they are supported, challenged and valued as individuals. I believe that every student can be the best version of themselves when supported by those who are dedicated to helping them succeed and my purpose is to be an integral part of that process. I am a dedicated educator who understands the importance of serving in their purpose to benefit others. I look forward to serving such a dynamic and positive learning community at Vines. The staff at Vines is committed to making this an exceptional year. I look forward to meeting each of you and I welcome you to another year of excellence.
