Mrs. Kennitra Robertson

I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Plano Senior High School. It is a privilege to become part of this remarkable community of outstanding students, dedicated educators, and supportive parents. Having lived and worked in this community for many years, I am excited to continue my journey here and contribute to the legacy of excellence at Plano Senior High School.

As I transition from my role as Principal at Vines High School, I am eager to share my passion for fostering an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their highest potential. Most of my experience as an educator has been in Plano ISD. This upcoming school year will be my 18th year in education and 11th year as an administrator. I taught at Wilson Middle School for seven years in addition to teaching fifth grade in East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana. I have also served as an Assistant Principal and Administrative Intern at Otto Middle School for five years and Principal of Robinson Middle School for four years. I earned a degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce.

By encouraging positive relationships, celebrating successes, and maintaining high expectations, we can continue the great work in our school community where students feel empowered and inspired to achieve their best. At Plano Senior High School, we will continue to honor the rich traditions and achievements that have shaped our school's proud history while preparing and encouraging our students to be successful in their post-secondary endeavors. My goal is to ensure our students are future-ready and are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world. I am committed to ensuring that our learners have opportunities to grow personally and academically while pursuing extracurricular interests that they will remember long after they have graduated.

I am excited to get to know more of our students and families in Wildcat Nation. Your insights and feedback are invaluable as we work together as a Plano Senior High School family. Please feel free to reach out to me via phone or email. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat! I look forward to meeting you soon.
