Mrs. Shannon Reczek
As an experienced science teacher, my goal is to guide students to explore the realm of natural phenomena through inquiry, and physical, mathematical, & conceptual models. I chose to teach high school science because I love science and want to share my passion with future generations of scientists. I strive to develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills through guided inquiry-based learning. I consider every student in my classroom a scientist who will discover an understanding of science concepts by performing hands-on experiments, collecting data, collaborating with peers, drawing conclusions, and communicating results. It is my goal to create a classroom environment where students enjoy learning and feel comfortable asking questions.
During our hybrid learning experience, I made many physics tutorial videos. Most of the videos are only accessible to students due to curriculum copyright, but I have a few fun demos posted on my YouTube Channel.
