I am a Plano ISD graduate. I attended Tarleton State University and graduated in 2006 with my Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Emphasis in Wildlife. I've worked with tigers, lions, and other exotic cats. I have also worked with a variety of snakes. My classroom is sometimes referred to as the zoo because of all the animals I have.
After college, I was a corporate trainer for a large national bank; this is where I fell in love with teaching. After 6 years, I enrolled in a program to get my teaching certificate. I have been working at Plano West since the start of the 2013-2014 school year! I have primarily taught Anatomy & Physiology and Environmental Systems. I have written curriculum for both Environmental Systems and Anatomy & Physiolgy. I have been the Environmental Systems Team Lead since 2013. I have also been the Head Cheer Coach since 2013.
I truly enjoy getting the opportunity to help grow and mentor my students and athletes.
