Hello Wolfpack! My name is Rob Keahey and I have been teaching American Studies at West since 2018. Prior to that, I spent 6 years at Otto Middle School. Prior to THAT, I spent many years in the corporate world, mostly working at the regional offices of a major automotive manufacturer. Turns out, the business world isn't one I was made for and when presented with the opportunity to become a teacher, I took it. I can look back and say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love teaching! I love the creativity and ambition of young people! I love this country and its (often complex) history! If you want to grow into an enlightened and productive citizen of our country, then learn its history! Analyze and discuss the things that we, as a nation, have done and created. That's where I come in!
