Hello Wolf Pack!

My name is Keith Mattson, and I’m excited about starting my first year teaching CTE Law Enforcement. I’ve had the opportunity to work in various roles within PISD, including as a bus driver and in Front Desk/Attendance. Before joining PISD, I served as a Law Enforcement Officer for 9 years, and I also have experience as a Dispatcher/911 call taker and a Prison Guard.

I’m a single father to five wonderful kids aged 21, 18, 10, 10, and 8. All of them have been a part of, or are currently attending, schools in the central cluster, so I’m very familiar with our community. Here’s a fun fact: I’ve been in a movie and have worked at a top 5 market radio station. I’m also a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan—prepare for me to be vocal about our 5 Lombardi Trophies and occasionally disown them after a tough game!

My passion for Law Enforcement runs deep, and I’m eager to share this enthusiasm with my students. I look forward to helping you explore the world of Law Enforcement and learning together throughout the year.
