- About Me
Ms. Anna Boadas-Virgili
I was born in Spain, where I got my Master's degree in Linguistics, English Language and Literature and taught English in a HS there until I moved to the USA. I have always worked in education, from Elementary School to College level. I am passionate about learning and about sharing this passion and a few tools that I have learned on the way to help hone my student's learning skills to navigate the increasingly complex reality we live in.
I feel that learning foreign languages opens windows to other cultures and ways of thinking and interpreting the world as well as providing a better understanding of our own culture. In a world that seems to be getting smaller and smaller, being exposed and prepared to engage in meaningful communication with people from other cultures is a necessary skill for a well-rounded education.
