Mr. Steve Luthye
2024-25 is my seventh year teaching at PSHS. I earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Oklahoma State University and a master's degree in music theory from Southern Methodist University. I teach all levels of music theory at PSHS, including AP Music Theory, Music Theory 2 Honors, and Music Studies.
When I'm not teaching music theory, I enjoy performing with all sorts of bands and ensembles as an instrumentalist, singer, and conductor. I am a two-time fantasy football champion.
I live in Plano with my wife of 20 years, two kids who attend Vines HS and Haggard MS, and my beagle mixes, Gary and Penny.
