• High School Equivalency Preparation

    The purpose of the Plano ISD Adult Education program is to provide adults with reading, writing, speaking, mathematical skills, and general knowledge acquisition through the eighth grade level of competency or an accepted minimum performance level. Adults are also prepared for successful results on a High School Equivalency exam (GED or HiSet).

    High School Equivalent (HSE) in Spanish: GED

    This Adult Education program is for any Spanish speaking adult needing to prepare to take the GED test in their native language: Spanish.  When ready,  students will take the tests at any testing center of their choosing.

    Upon successful completion of the tests, they will receive an official HSE certificate from the Texas Adult Education (TAE) agency.

    Who is eligible to attend?

    Any native Spanish speaking adult (17 years old or older) whohas completed middle school -  (9th grade) or higher

    Certificado de Equivalencia del Bachillerato / Preparatoria en español

    Este es un programa de educación de adultos para cualquier adulto hispanoparlante que necesire prepararse para tomar el examen del GED/HSE en su idioma native: español.  Una vez que esté listos, tomarán el examen en cualquier centro de examinación de su preferencia.  Al concluir exitosamente los exámenes, recibirá el Certificado de Equivalencia del Bachillerato / Preparatoris (HSE) de la Agencia Tejana de Educación de Adultos (TAE)

    ¿Quiénes son elegibles?

    Cualquier hispanopariante adulto de 17 años de edad o más, que haya completado la secundaris (equivalente al grado 9 estadounidense) o más.
