The district embraces the diverse community in which we live and work and values community and business partnerships as they are beneficial to the education of our students and in meeting the needs of our families.

The Plano ISD Partners in Education program provides the connection to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between the district and its partners. A partnership can look different for each business or community organization based on their initiatives and the district’s needs. There are many different ways to partner with Plano ISD.

• Volunteer - Serve as an individual volunteer or form a volunteer team to help support campus or district initiatives. Please visit the volunteer webpage to learn more about the Plano ISD volunteer program.
• Mentor - Mentoring students can help increase student success academically and socially. 
• Sponsor - Support a district event or a curriculum-based, staff-recognition or community outreach program through a variety of sponsorship and advertising opportunities.  
• Donate - Support district students and teachers by making a donation to the Plano ISD Education Foundation or provide in-kind support by helping fulfill district needs through donated goods and services.
• Support Student Programming - Work-based learning opportunities, like internships and industry-focused field trips, provide students the chance to experience real-world work environments.
