Bowman History
Bowman Middle School was built in 1968 and has served the east side of Plano for over 50 years. Named for former Plano City Councilman and PISD School Board Trustee George Bowman, BMS has had three additions (1971, 1973, and 1992) and was most recently refurbished in 2019. Bowman Middle School maintains a strong tradition of excellence through intentional, meaningful, and child-centered learning for all students.
