At the board meeting on October 3rd, Clark High School's Nicole Vickerman was recognized by the Plano ISD Board of Trustees for being the inaugural recipient of the Val Wilkie Jr. Award for Excellence in Teaching Geography. Ms. Vickerman stated that she was both humbled and honored to be recognized for her greatest passion in the name of someone who dedicated his life to teaching geography. She was joined by her principal, Pam Clark, and her parents, Richard and Sharon.
