Our Plano ISD family is deeply saddened by the tragic event that occurred yesterday in Allen, Texas. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this act of violence right here in our community. 

We know that events like this can be difficult for our students to process and understand. Our school counselors and support staff are always available to provide guidance and support to any students or staff who may need it. If your child needs support processing what happened, please reach out to your campus and request a conference with a counselor. Please use this link to help find your student’s counselor.

We know that words cannot heal the pain and suffering caused by this tragedy, but we want to express our deepest condolences and solidarity. We stand with our neighbors in Allen and our entire North Texas community during this difficult time and will continue to keep them in our thoughts.
