North Texas Giving Day Is Sept. 19
North Texas Giving Day is September 19, and scheduled giving opens September 9. Please consider giving to the Plano ISD Education Foundation, as well as your other favorite nonprofits. Gifts are processed on September 19 and funds donated to the foundation go directly to Plano ISD programs including: AVID, competitive robotics, the CORE Store, fifth grade camp scholarships, Grants to Educators, the Health Sciences Academy, Plano Family Literacy School, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) initiatives, science fair, social emotional learning programs and staff support. The foundation's mission is to help all students in the Plano Independent School District achieve their full potential by providing financial support to educators and academic programs.
If you have questions about donating please contact the foundation at 469-752-8272 or by email at foundation@pisd.edu. More information about the Education Foundation and the programs they support. Thank you for supporting Plano ISD teachers and students!
About North Texas Giving Day
Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.
The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2018, over $48 million was raised through more than 157,000 gifts benefiting 2,700 local nonprofits, bringing the ten-year total to over $240 million for our community. North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.
Since its inception in 2009, this online event has transformed from an idea to help raise awareness of nonprofits, to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.
