    Extra curricular activities:

    • I've been involved in orchestra since sixth grade, and I currently play violin for the Plano East Sinfonia; I'm also serving my second year on the Plano East Orchestra Council. I'm going into my fourth year of National Honor Society. Last year I served on the Plano ISD Strategic Planning Committee as a student representative.

    Community service:

    • The majority of my service activities are for city related events like the Plano Balloon Festival and Murphy Maize Days. I love to feel involved in my community and watch everything come together.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subjects are science, AP biology, and English, and I have three favorite teachers: Mrs. Alexander, Dr. Russell and Mrs. Enaya; they're probably some of the best educators in the world.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • This summer I spent a week at UT Austin for the McCombs Future Executive Academy, and I currently work at the Amazeballz Bakery in Plano.

    • I'm excited for my second year on the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee.

    Extra curricular activities:

    • I participate in speech and debate (6 years); congressional debate (3 years); science fair (5 years), piano (7 years) and clubs such as National Honor Society (NHS) and UNICEF. This is my third year in NHS and UNICEF.

    Community service:

    • I do community service both on my own and through the clubs I engage in. I think it is important to give back to your community and help those who may not be as privileged. I go to the Gideon Math and Reading Center ever week to help young children with their education. Through NHS and UNICEF, I actively participate in drives for the refugee homes and homeless shelters.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject is calculus BC with Mrs. Kottwitz because math has always been my favorite subject, and she has found a way to make it extremely engaging and calm. She allows us to be ourselves in the classroom and emphasizes the importance of asking questions.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Over the past few summers, I have gone to India and worked with children who don't have access to many educational resources.

    • I am a national semi-finalist debater.

    • I have been involved in student congress since my sophomore year of high school. This has allowed me to help plan activities and stay heavily involved at my school. I'm also involved in a club called Wildcat Nation which helps others in the school know about clubs and pep rallies.

    Community service:

    • I help special needs kids at my school. This interests me a lot because I hope to get a job in the future focused on helping and understanding these students better.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject is history because it interests me how far our society has come.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • I love watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.

    Extra curricular activities:

    • I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing spikeball, serving others, spending time with my girlfriend, going to church and hanging with my family. I have been involved with student council since Shepton High School, and hope to continue student council through college.

    Community service:

    • I love spending time at my church, Bent Tree, serving in the tech/AV areas as well as my eighth-grade boys' small group. I love serving others and spending time with the Lord and with my friends.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • While math will always be my favorite school subject, my physics teacher, Mr. Wolfe, is my favorite teacher. Mr. Wolfe knows how to connect with his students and makes his class enjoyable.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • I currently work at Chick-fil-A. Come say hi! I love the people there and the environment is super fun.

    • I'm excited to be back on the Plano ISD Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee!

    • I've been participating in computer science competitions since last year, as well as volunteering at my church's tech department.

    Community service:

    • I volunteer with Feed My Starving Children; it is very enjoyable to know that a few hours of my time makes such an important impact to a person far less fortunate.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite class is BC calculus with Mrs. Kottwitz because she takes a much more engaging and entertaining approach, which personally has made calculus more enjoyable then I ever thought possible.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Over the summer I went to Egypt, and I went to one of the most beautiful beaches there.

    Anything else?

    • I'm excited to be back and looking forward to senior year.

    • The one extracurricular activity that I take part in is tennis. I play in school and outside of school. I'm also in student congress. I plan on taking part in the DECA program very soon!

    Community service:

    • Because of student congress, I manage school enhancements. My past experience with community service is through my two years in PALS (Peer Assistance and Leadership).

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject might be English because I'm very talkative and charismatic, and I am able to put that towards my essays.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • I've worked retail at PacSun working behind the register or on the floor socializing with customers.

    • The one extracurricular activity that I enjoy is YMSL (Young Men's Service League), and I have participated in the Legacy Chapter for three years. I enjoy volunteering with YMSL, and I enjoyed being the president in my sophomore year.

    Community service:

    • I engage in multiple types of community service, for example, in tenth-grade I was YMSL and National Honor Society president. I participate in community service multiple hours per year and love doing it.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject is Spanish and history. I have had amazing and involved teachers, including Señora Loeffler, Coach Kilpatrick and others.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • My hobbies are hanging out with friends and sitting out on the beach in Cancun with my family.

    • With the beginning of my junior year, I have been involved with the solar car club.

    • I serve at my church in the kids' ministries and at Sky Ranch.

    • My favorite subject is history, it is interesting to learn about the past.

    • I like drawing and playing video games, as well as listening to music.

    • I have been a part of Girl Scouts for seven years, robotics for three years (Titan Robotics FRC 5431) and martial arts for two years (Krav Maga).

    Community service:

    • I help a lot with local events, summer camps and other group activities through Girl Scouts and my church. I have helped with multiple robotics events, including running, planning and advertising them. I have also been in National Elementary Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society (as an officer) and National Honor Society. I really enjoy the social and creative aspects of volunteering, being able to create things to help people. 

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite classes are math and art. I tend to use geometry to make my art symmetrical. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Lysell, she was very fun and taught me more than just sixth-grade science.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Over the summer I continued to study for the SAT; I really like to study and advance myself. I enjoy crafting, DIY and drawing. In my free time I spend time with my family.

    Anything else?

    • I really like road trips; I'm very dedicated and a hard worker.

    Extra curricular activities:

    • I have played basketball for my school teams since ninth-grade. I have been part of Beta Club at Plano East (community service club) since tenth-grade and National Honor Society since tenth-grade.

    Community service:

    • Trash clean up at Plano East, PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership), a military drive last year and Special Olympics. I enjoy seeing other people we assist or the people volunteering with me making a difference.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • IB US history with my teacher Mr. Sklar because I enjoy the freedom of discussion that we have in the class. He also is a great teacher; he'll teach you everything you need to know and will work with you anytime you have difficulties.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • I went to ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) over the summer to give a presentation about student voice and choice using technology-based instruction. I played basketball and worked out as well over the summer. I enjoy 60's and 70's classic rock music.

    Anything else?

    • I plan to create a garden with a friend of mine at Plano East but nothing is confirmed yet.

    • I participate in club soccer; ever since I started in first-grade, it has been a passion of mine for the longest. I also love getting involved in activities at my church.

    Community service:

    • I serve the homeless every second Saturday of each month, and I enjoy getting to interact with them, because they have such interesting stories to tell.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject has always been math because my dad is a software engineer, and he has been a big influence in my life. Recently I have also enjoyed Spanish, because I love learning about different cultures and customs.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Aside from school, I love to tutor kids in math, and I thoroughly enjoy the art of photography and capturing special moments in life.

    • I am very excited to get to know the people in the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee and get to work with them!

    Extra curricular activities:

    • Plano Senior High student council president; member of student council for two years; Plano drumline for three years; and Spanish Club member for two years.

    Community service:

    • Volunteering with student council, planning blood drives, pep rallies and outreach. I enjoy being able to connect with many different types of people. I also play with the Richardson Community Band.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • Spanish 5 AP with Ms. Reyt; she always pushes me to do my best and has given me a love for the subject.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Jamming with friends on my drum set or uke; traveling with my family.

    Extra curricular activities:

    • I love making art, playing basketball and playing piano! I have been taking art lessons since first-grade, and I love entering art competitions and making little doodles whenever I'm stressed. I played basketball from seventh to ninth-grade at Robinson Middle School and Jasper High School, and I still play on the weekends with my little brother. Most of the time I win against him. I also love to listen and play music! By the way, I'm an amazing shower singer.

    Community service:

    • I volunteered at the Storehouse of Collin County during the summer. I love to interact with different people and gain a little insight into people of different backgrounds.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • My favorite subject is student council! I love to work with my classmates and talk about making changes in my school while also boosting morale. I also love health science theory because I am interested in becoming a pediatrician when I grow up.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • Unfortunately, this summer was pretty uneventful. But I enjoyed sleeping in, watching movies and eating absolutely everything in my fridge! I am interested in current events, and I love to debate and discuss about the news with family.

    Anything else?

    • My whole family has weird birthdays! I was born on Halloween, my little brother was born on Valentine's Day and all my uncles and grandparents have birthdays on the date of the fourteenth. My mom is pretty boring though, she has a birthday on October 19. I am excited to participate in the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee this year!

    Extra curricular activities:

    • I've been involved in student council since elementary school; I love the platform it provides to serve and represent my school! I'm also involved in National Honor Society, SHS and computer club.

    Community service:

    • Currently, I'm the president of City House Youth Advisory Board, an outreach and fundraising organization that is working to end youth homelessness in North Texas. My favorite part about community service is the get-your-hands-dirty, face-to-face part. You can understand the issues best when you remove the distance.

    Favorite subject or teacher:

    • Right now, my favorite class is art history with Mr. Darracott! I love exploring the history, psychology and geopolitical circumstances surrounding art. They have a lot of stories to tell.

    Hobbies or other interests:

    • In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, cooking and practicing hot yoga. Last summer I worked at Ericsson, a telecommunications company and worked in the business transformation department.
