    New campus administrative appointments made over the summer were introduced to the Board of Trustees at the June 20 school board meeting. Congratulations to the new principal appointees who will begin their new journeys in the 2023-2024 school year!

  • Shepton High School: Courtney Washington

    Mrs. Washington comes from a family of educators and so education is in her blood!  She completed her undergraduate degree from Grambling State University in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Lade. Courtney then completed her Graduate Degree from the University of North Texas in Educational Administration. She began her career as a teacher and then was promoted to assistant principal and then principal.  Most recently, she was the Principal of Carpenter Middle School here in Plano ISD. Mrs. Washington has been married to her college sweetheart Jarvis for 28 years.

  • Huffman Elementary School: Jigyasa Sethi

    For over two decades, Mrs. Sethi has been connected with PISD as an active volunteer and PTA member, substitute teacher, student teacher, elementary teacher, assistant principal, and as Principal of Hightower Elementary. Her vision is to create a community of empowered and open-minded learners, where every student grows academically and through the IB Learner Profile Traits. 

  • Saigling Elementary School: Connie Matthews

    Since 1992, Connie has been connected to Plano ISD, as a Plano East Senior High student, parent, teacher and leader at Skaggs, McCall, and Jackson Elementary Schools. Most recently, she served as the assistant principal at Beverly Elementary School. Her goal is to build collaborative relationships with the staff and community as we continue Saigling’s tradition of excellence. 

  • Memorial Elementary School: Stephanie Paholski

    Ms. Paholski brings 18 years of experience where she has served as a teacher and team leader across the nation.  Most recently, she was the assistant principal at Thomas Elementary.  It is her firm belief that a strong partnership between the school and families is the key to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for students where, together, they can inspire and empower students to reach their full potential.

  • McCall Elementary School: Emily Huechteman

    Ms. Huechteman has always been connected to Plano as a student where she attended Plano ISD schools from kindergarten to twelfth grade, where she graduated from Plano Senior High.  She comes to us with 14 years of educational experience where she has served as a teacher, team leader, and Campus Instructional Specialist/Dyslexia Specialist at Hughston Elementary. Most recently, she has served as the Assistant Principal at Andrews Elementary. Her vision is that together we can continue to foster an environment that leads to academic excellence, personal growth, and a love for lifelong learning.

  • Dooley Elementary School: Dr. Kimberly Blackwell

    Dr. Kimberly Blackwell will be the new principal at Dooley Elementary. Dr. Blackwell is a former parent of a Dooley Dragon and she has experienced how extraordinary the Dooley community is. Her primary goal is to be a champion in partnering together to make sure all of our students at Dooley reach their full potential.  Dr. Blackwell comes to us with 17 years of experience in education, where she has served as a teacher, an assistant principal at Hedgcoxe, Miller, and Thomas. She has also served as a Clinical Instructor and Center Coordinator for Texas A&M University-Commerce and, most recently, as a middle school assistant principal at Little Elm ISD.
