    Wesley is a euphonium player in the Plano East Wind Ensemble and has achieved the incredible honor of being a member of the TMEA All-State Symphonic Band.

    Beyond his musical talents, Wesley is passionate about giving back to the community. He volunteers at Feed My Starving Children, dedicating time to help provide meals for those in need. He is also active in his church and school community, always looking for ways to lend a hand and make a difference.

    Academically, Wesley thrives in BC Calculus, a subject that challenges him and pushes him to realize his full potential. He credits Mr. Ryan Buehrer as his favorite teacher, appreciating the way the class encourages him to think critically and expand his problem-solving abilities.

    When he’s not practicing his instrument or studying, Wesley enjoys hanging out with friends, playing basketball and staying active.

  • Evelyn Powell • Plano East

    Evelyn is involved in a wide range of activities, including Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Youth Choir and the Plano Police Youth Academy. She is also a party host at Pinstack, demonstrating her ability to engage with others and bring energy to every environment. In school, she is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the Plano East National Honor Society (NHS), highlighting her dedication to leadership and academic achievement.

    Community service is a key part of Evelyn’s life. She volunteers at Saint Joseph Catholic Church’s Santa’s Breakfast and Fall Festival, giving her time to support events that bring people together. Through her service, she finds fulfillment in helping others and strengthening her community.

    Academically, Evelyn’s favorite subject is Dual Credit Economics with Professor Sattizahn, where she enjoys exploring real-world financial and economic principles. She also has deep respect for Coach Lenne Stricker and Coach Robert Gifford, who have shaped her tennis experience, as well as Ms. Lensey Sardar, her Humanities I teacher, who has influenced her love for critical thinking and analysis.

    Outside of school, Evelyn’s biggest passion is playing tennis and leisure reading.

  • Nevaeh Jones • Plano Senior

    Nevaeh serves as Captain of the Planoettes Drill Team, leading with passion as she represents Plano Senior High with grace and precision. She is also an active member of Plano Senior’s National Honor Society (NHS) and a key voice on the Principal Advisory Council, where she helps shape initiatives that improve the student experience.

    Beyond her leadership in school, Nevaeh is deeply committed to community service, dedicating her time to a variety of impactful organizations. She volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, the North Texas Food Bank, Junior Achievement High School and Plano’s Outreach Program, all of which focus on supporting those in need. She also contributes to Drummathon - Breast Cancer Can Stick It, participates in Lights on the Farm and serves at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.

    Academically, Nevaeh’s favorite subject is Government, as she enjoys understanding how systems work and influence society. She credits Ms. Dougherty and Ms. Ramirez as her favorite teachers, appreciating their mentorship and guidance throughout her journey.

    When she’s not leading, volunteering, or studying, Nevaeh enjoys dancing, reading, watching movies and listening to music.

  • Yash Kulkarni • Plano Senior

    Yash is an active member of the PSHS Wildcat Battalion JROTC, where he serves as an officer, developing leadership skills and discipline. He is also involved in the Symphony Orchestra, playing the violin—a passion he’s nurtured for nearly seven years. In addition, Yash is the co-Vice President of the Cricket Club, balancing his interests in sports with leadership roles in his school community.

    Beyond his school involvement, Yash dedicates time to community service. As a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), he participates in various service events and he also volunteers with Volunteers in Plano (VIP), contributing to a wide range of projects that benefit his community.

    Academically, Yash is passionate about Physics, a subject that challenges him to think critically and solve complex problems. He credits Maj. McGruder (ret), his JROTC instructor, as his favorite teacher, appreciating the mentorship and guidance that has shaped his leadership and academic journey.

    Outside of academics and service, Yash has a wide range of hobbies and interests. He enjoys playing music, both as a violinist and guitarist, and loves spending time with friends playing football and cricket. Yash is also interested in robotics and electronics, always seeking new ways to sharpen his mind and deepen his knowledge in preparation for a future in engineering.

  • Arianna Kaheh • Plano West

    Arianna plays an active role in Student Council, where she serves as a committee lead, helping organize and lead various school initiatives. In addition to her leadership in school, she is a dedicated member of National Honor Society (NHS), where she participates in a variety of volunteer opportunities. One of her most impactful community service activities is Feed My Starving Children, an organization she regularly contributes to, helping provide meals to those in need.

    Academically, Arianna’s favorite subject is History, and she has a special fondness for her favorite teacher, Mrs. Clark, who inspired her love for the subject. Arianna appreciates the way Mrs. Clark brought history to life and made learning enjoyable.

    Outside of academics and service, Arianna has a deep passion for baking and is incredibly interested in all things related to the kitchen. Whether she’s experimenting with new recipes or perfecting her skills, Arianna finds joy in creating delicious treats and exploring the world of cooking.

    • Ava Schelin • Plano West

      Ava is heavily involved in Plano West Student Council, where she serves as Vice President, helping lead and organize school initiatives that make a positive impact on her peers. She is also the President of the International Thespian Society Troupe 6101 at Plano West and a Texas Thespians State Officer, showcasing her leadership within the performing arts community. Ava is also involved with the North Texas Performing Arts, where she further develops her acting skills.

      Outside of her leadership in school, Ava is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the Community Partners of Dallas THANKs (Teens Helping Abused and Neglected Kids) teen board, where she advocates for children in need. Ava also volunteers with Rainbow Days Camp Bravo, Kids University and Saturday with Santa, as well as numerous local philanthropies through the National Charity League - Preston Bluebonnet Chapter. Her dedication to giving back is evident in the many organizations she supports.

      Academically, Ava’s favorite subject is science, a field she finds fascinating and inspiring. This year, her favorite teacher is Mr. McCain, whose engaging teaching style has deepened her love for the subject.

      When she’s not volunteering or studying, Ava enjoys spending time with her family. She has a deep love for all things Disney and enjoys traveling with her family.

      Antonio is an active member of FRC 5431, Plano Academy High School’s competitive robotics team, where he hones his technical and problem-solving skills. He is also involved in Business Professionals of America (BPA), an organization that prepares students for careers in business and leadership. In addition to his extracurriculars, Antonio balances his academic life with a job at the Plano Aquatic Center, demonstrating his strong work ethic and time management skills.

      Beyond academics and work, Antonio is committed to giving back to his community. Through his role with Titan Robotics, he contributes over 40 hours of service each year, planning and participating in volunteer events that help others while also giving him valuable experience in event coordination. Whether through robotics or other service opportunities, Antonio finds ways to make a positive impact.

      In the classroom, Antonio’s favorite subject is chemistry, a discipline that challenges him to think critically and experiment with new ideas. However, when it comes to favorite teachers, he gives special recognition to Ms. Carrol, his AP Language teacher, whose teaching style and support have made a lasting impression on him.

      Outside of school and service, Antonio is a creative thinker with a passion for writing and art. He also has a keen interest in law, business, and history, with a particular fascination for the American government system and how it shapes society.

      Avleen Randhawa is a standout student who excels in academics, athletics, and community service while balancing a wide range of interests.

      Avleen is a varsity and club soccer player, showcasing her dedication to teamwork, discipline, and athletic excellence. In addition to her achievements on the field, she plays an active role in student leadership as a member of the Student Senate and contributes to the Spanish Honor Society, highlighting her commitment to academic excellence and cultural engagement.

      Beyond her extracurricular activities, Avleen is deeply involved in community service, dedicating her time to Minnie’s Food Pantry, Miracle League, and the Heard Museum. Through these organizations, she has helped provide food security to families, supported inclusive sports programs, and contributed to environmental education—making a meaningful impact in her community.

      Academically, Avleen’s favorite subject is American Studies, and she credits Dr. Bower for making the class engaging and thought-provoking. Her love for history and culture complements her leadership roles and passion for service.

      When she’s not studying or volunteering, Avleen enjoys reading, going to the gym, and baking—interests that allow her to relax, stay active, and express her creativity. Whether she’s leading on the soccer field, advocating for students, or giving back to the community, Avleen is a well-rounded individual making a difference in Plano ISD and beyond.

      Myles-William Dennis is a shining example of this commitment, balancing academics, athletics and community service while pursuing his passions.

      Myles is deeply involved in soccer, playing at both the club and high school levels. His dedication to the sport has taught him teamwork, perseverance and discipline—skills that extend beyond the field and into every aspect of his life. In addition to athletics, Myles is a member of Jack and Jill of America, an organization dedicated to leadership development, cultural awareness and civic engagement. He also participates in DECA, where he hones his skills in business, marketing and entrepreneurship.

      Service is a major part of Myles’ life. Through Jack and Jill, he dedicates over 75 hours each year to giving back, whether through food pantries, donation drives, or other volunteer efforts. His commitment to helping others reflects his strong sense of responsibility and leadership within the community.

      Academically, Myles’ favorite subject is AP Pre-Calculus, a challenging course that fuels his love for problem-solving and analytical thinking. He credits Mr. Tyree as his favorite teacher, whose guidance and support have made a lasting impact on his learning experience.

      When he’s not in the classroom or volunteering, Myles’ biggest passion remains soccer. Whether competing on the field or strategizing with teammates, he finds joy in the sport that has shaped much of his journey.

    • Grant Gonzales • Plano Senior

      Grant is actively involved in Student Council (STUCO), where he helps organize events and initiatives that strengthen school spirit and student engagement. His leadership extends beyond school as a dedicated member of the Boy Scouts, where he continues to develop skills in service, teamwork and problem-solving. He is also a wrestler, a sport that challenges him both physically and mentally while fostering resilience and discipline.

      Community service plays a key role in Grant’s life. Through STUCO and Boy Scouts, he gives back to his school and local community, demonstrating a commitment to service and leadership. Whether planning student events or participating in service projects, Grant is always looking for ways to contribute.

      In the classroom, Grant’s favorite subject is history, and he credits Mr. Hunt for making the subject engaging and impactful. His appreciation for the past fuels his curiosity about the world and how history shapes the present.

      Outside of school and service, wrestling is Grant’s true passion. The sport not only keeps him active but also instills discipline, perseverance and a competitive spirit that translates into all areas of his life.

      Beyond the stage, Madison is deeply committed to community service. As a member of National Charity League (NCL), Preston Bluebonnet Chapter, she devotes her time to organizations like Hope Supply Co. and Feed My Starving Children, where she helps provide essential resources to those in need. Through her service, she finds fulfillment in making a difference in the lives of others.

      In the classroom, Madison’s favorite subject is Anatomy and Physiology, a field that fascinates her with its exploration of the human body. When it comes to mentors, she holds a special appreciation for her drill team directors, Mrs. Dougherty and Mrs. Ramirez, who have played a significant role in shaping her high school experience.

      Outside of school and service, Madison’s hobbies reflect her creative and lively personality. She loves to dance and sing, and when she has free time, she enjoys baking while watching her favorite shows—a perfect way to unwind and express her creativity.

      As a member of the Plano West Band, Alex brings music to life through performance, while also competing on the field as part of the Plano West Soccer team.

      Beyond school activities, Alex is passionate about giving back to the community. As a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), he dedicates his time to service projects, including volunteering with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Through this organization, he helps pack and ship meals to people in need worldwide, making a tangible impact beyond his local community.

      Academically, Alex’s favorite subject is Pre-Calculus, a course that challenges him to think critically and refine his problem-solving skills. He credits Mrs. Pettit as his favorite teacher, appreciating the way she makes learning both engaging and rewarding.

      Outside of school, Alex enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, and making music. Whether he’s competing on the field, performing with the band, or volunteering his time, Alex embodies the well-rounded spirit of Plano ISD students.

      Jade is a member of a competitive dance team at KJ Dance, where she dedicates countless hours perfecting her craft and expressing herself through movement. In addition to her passion for dance, she is actively involved in Business Professionals of America (BPA) and DECA at Plano West, where she sharpens her business acumen and leadership skills. Beyond these activities, Jade is an advocate for mental health awareness as part of the St. Andrews Hope Squad, working to support and uplift her peers.

      Community service is a big part of Jade’s life. She enjoys volunteering at local races, cheering on participants and helping with navigation. She also dedicates time to volunteering at her church and organizations like Feed My Starving Children, where she helps provide meals to those in need. Through these efforts, Jade finds joy in giving back and making a difference.

      Academically, Jade’s favorite subjects are English and Math, as she enjoys both creative expression and logical problem-solving. She also has a special appreciation for her Student Council (STUCO) advisor, Mrs. Dagampat, who has played a key role in her leadership journey.

      Outside of school and service, Jade has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability, always looking for innovative ways to make an impact. When she’s not dancing, she loves trying new foods and watching Gossip Girl.
