History of Memorial
Memorial Elementary School was established in 1967 in remembrance of the Plano ISD students whom have given their lives in service to this country in the Armed Forces. Originally built in 1967 at a cost of $382,320 to house grades 1-3, Memorial's "Phase II" was completed in 1970 to house grades 4-6. Memorial underwent renovation in 1995.
