Black Student Union
Purpose:
The Plano East Black Student Union's mission is to provide a safe refuge for Plano East's African American pupils. We believe that in view of the present political and social climate, which is not conducive to the success and safety of our black youth, this would be a significant approach to assist our community. Our three main objectives for this organization are to ensure that the students involved are always motivated, that they are always striving to reach their full potential, and to improve the lives of African American students at Plano East Senior High School by obtaining a good education and remaining ambitious while also remaining relentless in their pursuit of their goals.
