Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Deana M. Reed

I am so happy to be at Plano East.

Originally from Eugene, Oregon, I was a clinical rotations and HOSA student in high school. Obtaining my Certified Nurse Aid through that school program opened many doors for me. It seems only right to have come full circle.

This is my third year as embedded faculty with Plano East and Collin College in the Health Science Academy. I am a Registered Nurse with an Associates Degree in Science in Nursing from Lane County Community College (OR.), a Bachelors Degree in Science in Nursing from UTA and a Masters Degree in Nursing Education from WGU.

My two sons are grown. One lives here in north Texas and one in Portland Oregon. I could not be more proud of them both. My time is spent traveling, rehabbing houses and enjoying time with my boys.

I taught Clinical Rotations at PESH from 2000-2007 and I am glad my path has lead me back to East.
