Hello! I am the Journalism / Newspaper / Yearbook teacher at Plano East Senior High School. I also teach Psychology & Sociology. I'm excited to be a part of such a vibrant community and I really look forward to the 2024-2025 school year. This is my 13th year teaching in Texas and my 3rd year at PESH. I have lived in Texas for over 14 years now, but I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA (Go Eagles!). After college, I spent seven years working for CNN as a writer and associate producer. I eventually transitioned to the field of public relations, working for clients in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Tulsa, where my goal was to gain positive publicity and media exposure for a multitude of clients. Eventually, I decided to follow in my parents' footsteps and become an educator. I relocated to Texas and never looked back.
