I studied Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas and worked as a licensed structural engineer for about 10 years.  I took some time off to stay home with my 4 children and substituted part time.  I fell in love with teaching and have never looked back.  I thoroughly enjoy working with teenagers and helping them to understand and enjoy mathematics. I have been teaching in PISD for 20 years and have taught 8th grade through 12th grade.
