All students choosing to participate in cross country and/or track & field must be enrolled in first-period cross country or track & field. If you are in another athletic period and wish to join, there must be communication between both sets of coaches prior to joining. We have an unlimited roster and our only requirement is that students show up to practice on time, give their best effort, and take care of their grades.
- Rank One Paperwork - Must be completed prior to practicing
- Physical - Must be completed and turned in prior to practice
Please let me know if you have any questions or further information! Thank you.

This will be my 5th year in Plano ISD. During that time, I have served as Head Cross Country Coach and Head Girl’s Track & Field Coach at Plano East. In the afternoon, I teach physical education and fitness at Stinson Elementary - GO STARS! Prior to moving to Plano East, I spent 9 years at Texas A&M University-Commerce working my way up as an undergraduate, graduate student, graduate assistant, ad-interim instructor, and assistant cross country and track & field coach. I competed for A&M-Commerce in both track & cross country from 2006-2011. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Sports Studies w/All Level Teaching and my Master of Science in Kinesiology & Sports Studies. My wife, Kaitlyn, and I got married on December 16th, 2017 and have two dogs, Boomer & Charley.
