Coach Engelking teaches the morning physical education classes at Mathews. The morning classes consist of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. In the afternoon Coach Engelking is men's and women's head golf coach at Plano East Senior High. He has been teaching in Plano for 23 years. This is his thirteenth year at Mathews Elementary and nineteenth year at Plano East. His wife Jill is the Principal at Renner Middle School. Coach Engelking has two daughters. Madalyn - 19, who is a junior at Oklahoma State University and Sophia - 16, who is a junior at Plano East. One interesting fact about Coach Engelking is that he attended Harrington Elementary, Carpenter Middle School, Clark High School and Plano East Senior High.
