Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Brianna Davis

Brianna Davis is the Head Cheerleading Coach and Government teacher at Plano East Senior High School!

Brianna is a recent graduate of Tarleton State University where she studied Kinesiology and Sports Pedagogy. She is from Mesquite, TX and graduated from Poteet High School. Throughout her years at Poteet, she was involved in many extracurricular activities. She was part of the cheerleading and volleyball teams as well as a member of the theatre. In high school, Brianna was a 3-year captain on the cheer team, and an All-American Cheerleader.

Cheerleading has always been her passion since she was very young. This has led her to great opportunities in the sport. While attending Tarleton, she was a 5-year member of the cheer team that performed at all their athletic and community events. She was able to win numerous cheer awards, achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and is now currently pursuing her Master’s degree. She personally competed in numerous cheerleading competitions, including the recent NCA Daytona Nationals, which led to her biggest accomplishment, winning a National Championship Title in the Collegiate GameDay Division.

During her time at Tarleton pursuing a concentration on Sport Pedagogy, she had the opportunity to student teach at different schools in Stephenville. She learned leadership skills and how to better serve students. She had the opportunity to self-reflect, experience personal growth, and gain the skills and experience to become a great teacher.

She is excited to be here at Plano East.
