A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon graduation, I continued to pursue her Master of Education in Special Education from University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon graduating I taught in the area of Special Education to students from ninth to twelfth grade in Woodstock, Illinois. I then moved to Santa Barbara, CA and worked with students with special needs in grades 9-12 in inclusion and resources settings. After 5 years, I relocated to Plano, TX and have worked in a variety of roles, such as inclusion teacher, transition specialist, team leader, eschool teacher, and Data assessment coach. My roles entailed teaching, training, and leading to comply with rigid state IEP paperwork requirements, to ensure safety of students, and helping teachers and paraprofessionals meet their goals. I aspire to help students to develop a love of learning and drive to succeed in achieving their goals.
