Ms. Karen Quay

Hi there! My name is Karen Quay, and I teach AP English III and Honors English IV.  My classroom is in Building 4, Room 217A.  2024-2025 is my 12th year of teaching, but I was a business person for 25 years before deciding to become a teacher. It was a great decision! I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a long-time resident of Plano. Both of my daughters graduated from Plano Senior High, so I have experience in Plano both as a mom and an educator. I love reading, hiking and walking, yoga, animals of all kinds, and teaching, and I am really looking forward to having a great year!
