Ms. Laura Leuschke

I was born in St. Charles, MO and grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, MO. I moved to Plano in 1987 and graduated from Plano Senior High. I attended both Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas, graduating from UNT in 1999 after the birth of my two older children. My son, Drew, is also a graduate of UNT; my daughter, Miranda, is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and my youngest, Kinsley, is in 7th grade in Plano ISD. The 2024-2025 school year will be my 21st year teaching English at Plano East. I love to travel, attend concerts, and watch sporting events (particularly college football and tennis). I'm also an absolute Disney fanatic!
