Mrs. Beth Womack
Hi everyone and welcome! This is my 25th year in education and my passion for working with students is as strong as ever. I truly love my job! I have taught kindergarten - 12th grade, sponsored middle school cheerleading, and coached girls soccer, so I have seen and done it all. During this time I tried administration (assistant principal) for 5 years, but I missed the classroom too much. I strongly believe that when you are blessed with a gift and passion, you should stay with it.
Growing up in Plano, I attended Jackson, Wilson, Vines, and I graduated from PSHS. I was a member of the girls' state soccer team, and I was in the teaching program for two years. (I remember when PESH was built and opened!) After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma and helped start the women's soccer team there. I am a member of the Alpha Phi sorority, and I have two master's degrees in Special Education and Educational Administration for Texas A&M Commerce. My undergraduate degree is in biology and health with a minor in English.
Who is this teacher outside of school? I am married to a wonderful husband, Mike, who attended Clark and also graduated from PSHS. I have two children Mackenzie (17) PSHS varsity cheerleader, and Casey (14) at Vines and he plays football, basketball, and runs track. Hmmmm.... I think there is a trend here. My love for education, this city, school district, and it's citizens runs deep.
