Mrs. Beth Womack
Hi everyone and welcome! My name is Beth Womack and I teach English 4 Resource and Inclusion. This is my 28th year in education and my passion for working with students is as strong as ever. I truly love my job! I have taught special education from kindergarten - 12th grade, sponsored middle school cheerleading, and coached girls' soccer, so I have seen and done it all. During that time, I was also an assistant principal for 5 years, but I missed the classroom too much. I strongly believe that when you are blessed with a gift and passion, you should stay with it.
Growing up in Plano, I attended Jackson, Wilson, Vines, and I graduated from PSHS. After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma, and I am a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. I have two master's degrees in Special Education and Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce. My undergraduate degree is in biology and health with a minor in English.
Who is this teacher outside of school? I am married to a wonderful husband, Mike, who attended Clark and also graduated from PSHS. I have two children, Mackenzie (20) at Collin College, and Casey (17) at PSHS and he runs varsity track as a sprinter. Hmmmm.... I think there is a trend here. My love for education, this city, the school district, and its citizens runs deep.
