  • History of Haggar

Rose Haggar Elementary opened in 1995 and honors Dallas art patron Rose Mary Haggar, whose husband founded Haggar Clothing Company. Their daughter, Rose Mary Haggar Vaughn, and her husband, Ed, donated 11 acres for the school and an adjoining city park. The opening of the school was a dream come true for Rose Mary Haggar Vaughn. During Spring and Summer 2017, the campus went through a renovation, complete with new floors and ceilings, teacher work spaces and state of the art furniture.
