  • History of Huffman

Huffman commemorates early Plano settler Joseph T. Huffman (1837-1908). Born in Kentucky, he emigrated to Texas in 1858 and settled on White Rock Creek, about four miles from the school that now bears his name.

Huffman Elementary opened in 1984 at a cost of $3 million.
