Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD)
Students with an IEP, 504 plan, or LPAC must request accommodations for College Board exams prior to testing.
Most students who receive accommodations at school and request them from the College Board are approved, but they must still make the request.
Once approved, it is not necessary to reapply for each College Board exam.

Requesting Accommodations
- Complete and return the consent form - Parent Consent Form (Spanish version)
As soon as a student knows they will need accommodations for ANY College Board exam, they should complete the consent form and return it to the appropriate department.- Students with a 504 plan: Amy Johnson/Ying Wang
- Students served through Special Education: Judy Guynes
- English Language Learners: Blythe Barajas
- Staff opens a request in SSD online - Once the parent consent form is returned, the school will gather and submit required documentation to College Board
- SSD sends a notice of the decision - It takes up to 7 weeks for a new request to be reviewed. The student usually receives notice via postal mail. If you need a copy of your decision letter, contact SSD Customer Service.
If accommodations are approved, the decision letter also has an eligibility letter with test-by-test details. The decision and eligibility letters include the student's eligibility code, which is needed for SAT registration.
