Summer School Bus Routing

Pick Up/Drop Off Information

Assigned Stops

Students are assigned to bus stops based on home address and the campuses serving that home address and may not use alternate bus stops or bus routes.

STUDENTS ARE TO GO TO THE DESIGNATED BUS STOP LISTED ON HIS/HER BUS PASS FOR PICK UP AND DROP OFF.

Pick Up

Students should be at their assigned bus stop ten minutes prior to the estimated stop time in order to board the bus promptly.  

Drop Off

• Kindergarten and/or first grade may be released to a parent, guardian, or third grade or older sibling each day.
• Second grade and older students can be released to walk or ride home alone from the campus bus stop.

Bus Rules

• Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade students are required to wear bus badges each day to ride the bus.
• Children must remain seated on bus and follow all bus safety rules.

Emergencies

If parents have an emergency and cannot meet the bus, they should make arrangements to have another adult receive the child at the regular bus stop.

Undeliverable Students

In the event that a parent/guardian is not at the bus stop to receive the student, the student will be returned to the summer school campus. 

• If this occurs more than two times, the student will be denied transportation to the summer school campus.  This is for the safety of the child.
• There are bus assistants riding on the bus to help ensure the students safety.
• A Kindergarten and/or first grade student will be returned to the program campus unless there is a parent, guardian, or third grade or older sibling to receive them each day.
